London Olympics 2012

With the London Olympics approaching in the coming month, final preparations are key to its success.  One of the key parts is the setting up of media within the local area. Here within St James Park, the organisers required cable ducting to protect and hide media cables during events of which Mole Group offered a solution using its expertise within this area.

The organisers of the event required 50m of ducting to be placed with minimal disruption to the surrounding area, due to restrictions placed on the park which prevents open-cut trenching.

To avoid causing major disruption to the surrounding areas we decided to use our specially commissioned eco-friendly drill, to install the electrical ducting while avoiding contamination of the ground from chemicals such as bentonite.

The ducts were successfully installed on site ahead of the deadline for the project while causing minimum disruption to the surrounding area while leaving a clean and tidy area for the completion of the installation.

With a professional and precise finish, we were able to complete the job and leave the customer with the knowledge that the job has been completed to a high standard.
