Drilling works, Horton, Bristol
Mole Group Utilities were approached by construction company, Chappell & Dix who were tasked with a complete renovation of a picturesque manor house in Horton, to Install apporx 40m of 160mm MDPE SW drain. Traditional trenching methods for the drain installation, were not viable as this would mean disturbing a neighboring patio and various obstacles including original walls, not to mention the stunning grounds in which the property sits could not be disturbed.
Mole Group Utilities working under the main contractor were able to secure a route which would divert away from the existing drainage and ensure the levels in the storm drain were perfectly set. Drilling under the neighbouring patio proved challenging due to the height difference from one area to another, however this was no issue for our experienced site team.
From welding the pipework on site, to tracking the route with mm precision, Mole Group utilities were able to meet the specification set, on time, in budget with minimal interference with the existing landscape.
