FJ Goodwin – Astra Zenica

Having worked on many occasions with F J Goodwins in the past, they contacted us in January 2014 about a further project at a site we had previously worked on. The work involved the installation of 2 x 160mm drains for rainwater and foul water under a road. 

The project was scheduled for 7 days which includes mobilising at the site, site induction and setting up of the drill rig. Precise drilling with a fall of 1:50 with careful tracking and planning was required. A further complication is that the team were working within a confined space. Using the pit launch rig within a confined space means that we can drill directly in the position required. 

The teams worked hard to ensure that the drills were precise and all went well. Work was completed on schedule and budget and all parties were extremely happy with the installation.
