Liverpool City Centre for a Local Construction Company 

Situation: This job was critical as student accommodation had been built without drains so the only way to enable project completion was to go beneath the building.  

Objective: To install a surface water gully and a 160mm drain with a 2-3% fall under the existing structure.  This was a busy active site right in the centre of Liverpool. 

Action: We drilled beneath the existing building, a huge apartment block.  Due to the tight location and area to work with, our old red rig was the only machine able to get into the area and install the drain duct. 

Result: The building now has a surface water gully and fully operational drainage.  

Aftermath: Once the flats are kitted out and decorated, they’ll be ready to house the lucky students who will be living in this fantastic city!
