Dunbar Case Study

Dunbar, Scotland

Mole Group Utilities were contacted back in early 2019 to look at the possibility of drilling to install all the main utilities for a potential new build property in Dunbar, this included, water, electric, ducting, and surface and foul water drainage.

The historic town is steeped in history boasting many ancient woodlands. This particular site had a number of tree protection orders against the existing trees meaning no dig technology was the only option ensuring the land was usable to build on.

Mole Group Utilities worked initially with the site architect in order to provide a much-needed solution to the installation of the utilities, then once the site was purchased, worked closely with the soon to be homeowner.

After many months of work, this October we were finally ready to mobilise to site. Our experienced site crew were able to install over 30 meters of 2no 110mm drainpipe, 1no 63mm duct, 1no 38mm SPCD and 1no 32mm waterpipe. These all installed to the individual specification set by the utility companies to ensure a smooth transition for connection.

The client was so pleased with the works completed ‘Our thanks to Kevin and Max for a safe, efficient, and courteous visit.’
