This would go down as the most impressive site we have ever had the opportunity to work on! As much as we would love to share further details, we have to respect high profile clients details.

Mole Utilities were contacted by established construction firm who have been working on the property for the past few years.

Due to unforeseen changes/design choices some sections of the pumped drainage would need to be diverted into new pumping stations. Now, as the landscaping was pretty much complete, it would have cost an extortionate amount of money to interrupt some areas with trenching.

Mole Utilities were asked to directionally drill the 90mm OD MDPE drainage under several sections, including hedge rows, running tracks (containing intricate sensors) and tarmac roads. The client was able to provide the location and depth of the existing utilities, some of which only allowed a very small window of around 500mm so accuracy was key here as a few mm either side would have been detrimental to the site.

Our engineers were able to successfully install the pipe to spec, on time and in budget.
