Car Charging Point Installation, Chester

Mole Utilities were contacted by investment firm Valto for assistance with their new car charging point installation.

Due to restrictions on the small estate, they would need roughly 20m of duct under a busy access footpath, and this would have to be done trenchless.

After meeting the client and the installer, it was agreed to install 1no 90mm duct and 1no 38mm duct to house the cable and data cable.

Our site team were able to tackle the job from start to finish, including excavation and reinstatement for the launch and receive pits, as well as the full installation of the MDPE ducting all to the detailed specifications set by the installers.

The clients can now enjoy charging their cars on site, without knowing that we were ever there!
